The Agricultural Training Institute - Regional Training Center 12 (ATI-RTC 12), through the Youth Internship Program on Organic Agriculture (YIPOA), led by Focal Person and Agriculturist II, Mr. Johnny H. Pasaquian, continues to promote youth engagement in organic farming.
This program is a 21-month internship initiative designed to encourage young individuals to pursue careers in organic agriculture. It consists of a 9-month on-farm internship with a selected farm partner whose operations align with the intern’s proposed organic enterprise, followed by a 12-month enterprise implementation phase to help interns establish their own agribusiness ventures.
As part of the program, 11 youth interns from Batch 2, who recently completed their 9-month on-farm internship, presented their Farm Business Enterprise Plans to demonstrate the feasibility of their entrepreneurial projects. The presentation took place at ATI-RTC 12, Brgy. San Felipe, Tantangan, and was attended by ATI-12 staff members Mr. Errol Laspiñas, Ms. Gladys Café, Ms. Porsha Rivera, Ms. Jane Decoma, and Mr. Jim Raborar.
Additionally, ATI-RTC 12 OIC-Center Director, Dr. Jessie V. Beldia, visited the interns and encouraged them to pursue their dreams in organic agriculture. Dr. Beldia emphasized the value of their experiences and the importance of strengthening their knowledge and skills to establish successful organic farming enterprises.

It is a collaborative effort between the Department of Agriculture - National Organic Agriculture Program (DA-NOAP) and the Department of Agriculture - Agricultural Training Institute (DA-ATI).
