Malapatan, Sarangani Province – The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center XII (ATI-RTC XII) attended the pre-bid conference for the Swine Multiplier Farm implementation as witnesses on February 28, 2025. The conference, facilitated by the Municipal Agriculture Office (OMAg) of Malapatan, was led by Municipal Agriculturist Engr. Mirasol Saludes and assisted by Sarangani Provincial Veterinarian Mr. Amor R. Elevazo, DVM.

ATI-RTC XII representatives Mr. Errol Chris A. Laspiñas, Agriculturist I, Mr. Jon Ian D. Belo, TWG-VP for Infrastructure, and Ms. Kissciel Arao-Arao, Alternate Livestock Focal Person attended the event alongside company officials participating in the bidding process. Also present were members of the Pananggalon Farmers and Fisherfolks Association, the primary beneficiaries of the project.

The pre-bid conference was conducted to ensure the smooth and transparent implementation of the Swine Multiplier Farm, which aims to support local hog raisers in Malapatan. This initiative aligns with ongoing efforts to strengthen the livestock industry and provide sustainable livelihood opportunities for the agricultural sector in the province not only relying on the fisheries sector.
