The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center XII conducted a coordination meeting with the National Meat Inspection Service-Regional Technical Operations Center XII (NMIS RTOC XII) held yesterday at the Belo Conference Hall, ATI-RTC XII, San Felipe, Tantangan, South Cotabato.


Dir. Jessie V. Beldia, Ph.D., OIC-Center Director of ATI-RTC XII, welcomed the NMIS RTOC XII team, led by Ms. Precious Emerald L. Licatan, DVM, and Ms. Marneth Y. Villanueva, RAgr. Representing ATI-RTC XII were Mr. Errol Chris A. Laspiñas, RAgr., Livestock Focal Person, and Ms. Kissciel Arao-Arao, Alternate Livestock Focal Person.


The meeting aimed to finalize preparations for the upcoming FY 2025 training programs in collaboration with NMIS RTOC XII. Mr. Laspiñas presented the planned training programs and addressed necessary adjustments to improve their implementation. He also sought technical assistance from NMIS RTOC XII in designing post-harvest facilities that will be established in the region, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices. 


This collaboration underscores the commitment of both agencies to strengthening the livestock sector and improving local meat production standards in the region.
