Kabacan, Cotabato- The Agricultural Training Institute - Regional Training Center XII Management Committee Members recently paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed President of the University of Southern Mindanao, Dr. Jonald Pimentel, on March 21, 2025. 

During the meeting, both parties engaged in a productive discussion centered around collaboration, partnership, and innovation. The primary focus was exploring how the ATI-RTC XII and USM can work together to enhance agricultural extension and development in the region.

Led by OIC-Center Director Dr. Jessie V. Beldia, the ManCom presented a list of upcoming trainings to be held at the Satellite Training Center in USM Kabacan. 

Meanwhile, Dr. Pimentel expressed his strong commitment to fostering partnerships. He emphasized the construction of a Multi-Purpose Building and emphasized the importance of molding students into future entrepreneurs. 

Dr. Pimentel also introduced expert professors in the field of agriculture who could serve as resource persons for some of the trainings to be conducted by ATI. 

Through this collaboration, the goal is not only to improve agricultural practices but also to equip farmers and stakeholders with the skills and knowledge needed to drive positive change in the agri-fishery sector.
