TANTANGAN, South Cotabato – The Agricultural Training Institute - Regional Training Center XII (ATI-RTC XII) officially launched the Training on Basic Agriculture Extension Course for National Urban and Peri-Urban Agriculture Program (NUPAP) Focal Persons in Region XII.

During the opening program, OIC-Center Director Jessie V. Beldia, Ph.D., delivered a message of support, emphasizing the crucial role of agriculture extension workers in delivering innovative farming technologies to farmers.

As part of the training, Marnil B. Del Monte, Media Production Specialist II, led a session on Personal Awareness, equipping participants with essential skills for effective community engagement.

The training, which runs from March 24-28, 2025, at Abdul I. Daya-an Hall, ATI-RTC XII, Brgy. San Felipe, Tantangan, South Cotabato, aims to strengthen the capabilities of NUPAP Focal Persons in promoting sustainable urban and peri-urban agriculture in the region.
