TALIPAO, Sulu- Another potential CocoLSA under Farming Family category was validated in the Municipality of Talipao, Sulu last February 10, 2023.

This 2.5-hectare farm is abundant in high-yielding coconuts and other high-value fruits and vegetables. Mr. Abdullah, a coconut farmer and farm owner, stated during the interview that it is his vision to become a model farm in their Municipality and a pilot LSA in the Province of Sulu. In fact, he has already begun to share the technology and best practices with their community.

Senior Agriculturist Ms Shirley L. Beldia led the validation along with Training Specialist II Engr. Mokles Buisan, Information Officer II John Lord Auman and ISS Chief Ms Hannadi Guiamad-Pompong joined by PCA-BARMM Acting Regional Manager Datumanong Pendi, PCA Sulu Provincial Manager Ma'am Nur-Aina Ingkagan, PCA BARMM PDO III Lester Jake Dela Cerna, PCA Sulu Agriculturist Alfahar Saiddi and Admin Assistant Karsum Sabiran.

A CocoLSA is a farm that practices applicable coconut based technologies, employs doable farming strategies, and operates successfully, thus worthy of emulation.
