Jolo, Sulu- DA ATI-RTC XII Center Director Abdul I. Daya-an along with staff from the Information Services Section paid a courtesy visit to various agencies and the Provincial Local Government Unit of Sulu. Among these include the courtesy call to Sulu Provincial Governor Hon. Abdusakur M. Tan, Provincial Agriculturist Virginia Arreza and Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR)-Sulu Provincial Director Engr. Alfie Iribani, DPA.
The said visit aimed forge stronger partnerships and collaboration with the LGU and MAFAR in the implementation of various programs and services in Sulu Province specifically under the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Program (CFIDP).
Sulu Governor Hon. Abdusakur M. Tan appreciated the visit of ATI-RTC XII and mentioned that he strongly supports the undertakings of ATI for the betterment of the lives of their farmers and constituents in Sulu Province.
In addition, MAFAR-Sulu Provincial Director Engr. Iribani was glad to welcome the team of ATI-RTC XII. During the short meeting between Engr. Iribani and Center Director Daya-an, a collaboration was made specifically in terms of providing Subject Matter Specialists for the School On-the-Air for CFIDP.
MAFAR-Sulu and the Office of Provincial Agriculturist-Sulu have four (4) coconut specialists who can aid the ATI-RTC XII in the implementation of its farmer-level training and School On-the-Air Program.
Meanwhile, newly appointed Provincial Agriculturist of Sulu Ms Virginia Arreza also showed her support to ATI-RTC XII. She mentioned that their office is always open and willing for any partnership and collaboration to benefit their farmers in Sulu.
PCA-Sulu accompanied ATI-RTC XII during the courtesy visit with the presence of its Division Chief I Ms Nuraina Ingkagan, Senior Agriculturist Norodin Laja and Agriculturist Alfahar Saiddi.
