Sowing the seeds of camaraderie, the ATI-RTC XII commences the Regional Learning Sites for Agriculture (LSA) Summit here in the ATI-RTC XII, Brgy. San Felipe, Tantangan, South Cotabato, with the theme, Sowing Knowledge and Innovation: Advancing Agriculture through LSA.
The two-day summit, conducted from July 5-6, 2023, assembled all LSA owners across Region XII and BARMM, interweaving connections and new friendships from pioneers and recently established LSAs.
The summit kicked off with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony, where LSA owners showcased their products at the LSA Product Display Booths. An opening program was graced with a keynote message from ATI National Deputy Director Antonieta J. Arceo and an opening message from DA ATI-RTC XII Abdul I. Daya-an.
Agencies such as PCA XII, TESDA XII, DOST XII, DOT XII, DTI XII, DA RFO XII, and OWWA XII also presented the support and services they could offer to the LSAs that would benefit their enterprises and farms. The afternoon session was dedicated to the Search for the Best LSA Technology 2023, which culminated in the launching of the ALSA Dose Logo.
The Summit was made possible through the ATI-RTC XII Partnership and Accreditation Section (PAS), led by Section Chief and Senior Agriculturist Shirley L. Beldia, and the rest of the staff under the PAS.
The event served as an excellent opportunity for LSA owners to network with industry peers, learn from experts in the field, and discover new innovations that can help advance agriculture in the region.
Overall, the summit was a great success, and it is hoped that it will inspire more individuals to pursue their passion for agriculture and contribute to the industry's growth and development.
