Region XII has emerged as the Overall 2nd Runner Up at the recent 70th 4-H National Convention held in La Carmela Boracay, Malay, Aklan. This achievement reflects the region's dedication and talent on a grand stage.
Jayson Corda from President Roxas, Cotabato, secured the spotlight by securing 2nd Place and "Most Viewed Video" in the 4-H Short Film Contest, while Jessah Morales from Koronadal City claimed 3rd Place in the 4-H Himig Handog Singing Contest. Richard Barrosa from Tampakan, South Cotabato, showcased innovation with his 2nd Place win in the NEAA Head Category. Darryl Flores from Kidapawan City earned 3rd Place in the NEAA (Climate Action) Hands Category, underlining the significance of sustainable practices. Additionally, the dedication of finalists like Ryan Avanzado, Mickigie Arancon, and Charity Tayapad further emphasized the region's commitment to excellence.
The convention also recognized Sitinor Asimpen from Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat, and Rommel Espanola from Matalam, Cotabato, as finalists for Most Outstanding 4-H Club Coordinators, setting a high standard for leadership. These achievements underscore Region XII's resounding success and commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering innovation.
