Days 8 and 9 of the Training of Trainers (TOT) on Production of High-Quality Inbred Rice and Seeds, and Farm Mechanization (Batch 3) marked a significant shift towards practical training. Participants found themselves fully engaged in operating essential agricultural machinery at the South Central Mindanao College of Science and Technology in Tacurong City.

During these intensive days, participants gained invaluable experience in operating machinery such as the Tractor with rotavator, walk-behind transplanter, and combine harvester. These hands-on activities allowed them to put their newfound knowledge into action, preparing them to implement modern farming techniques effectively.

In addition to the machinery operations, Information Officer II John Lord L. Auman delivered a session on ICT Tools for Rice Production, Facilitation Skills, and Microteaching. Accountant John Mikel Ternida contributed to the training by discussing Financial Literacy, Farm Planning, Budgeting, and Record Keeping. These informative sessions equipped the participants not only with practical skills but also with the knowledge needed to plan and manage their farming endeavors effectively. The comprehensive nature of this training reflects a commitment to empowering farmers with the tools and skills necessary for success in the ever-evolving agricultural landscape.
