On August 14, 2023, a significant training initiative commenced at the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center XII (ATI-RTC XII) in San Felipe, Tantangan, South Cotabato. The Regional Training of Trainers on Native Cattle Production and Management for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) marked a pivotal step in enhancing cattle farming practices in the region.

The event brought together 25 enthusiastic participants eager to delve into the intricacies of native cattle production and management. Station Superintendent of USM Kabacan, Mr. Jurhamid C. Imlan, assumed a prominent role during the training. He led a comprehensive discussion on Module 3-11 of the native cattle production, sharing valuable insights and expertise with the participants.

This training represents a significant effort to empower ranchers in BARMM with the knowledge and practical skills required for successful cattle farming. As participants engage with the module and gain firsthand insights from Mr. Imlan, they are poised to become catalysts for positive change in the native cattle production sector.
