Tupi, South Cotabato – Last August 17, 2023, 20 participants were able to engage in hands-on demonstrations and learn about innovative production methods at the DA XII Research Outreach Station in Brgy. Bololmala, this town.

The participants were able to apply theoretical concepts through practical demonstrations in the field, which emphasized the importance of asexual propagation techniques in ensuring the robust growth of various fruit crops like coffee, calamansi, and cacao plants. Led by Science Research Specialists II from DA RFO XII, Mr. Arnaldo G. Pacio, and Ms. Lolita C. Tomas, the hands-on activity provided technical insights to the participants.

The participants also visited the Southlink Nursery in Brgy. Kablon, Tupi, to witness firsthand the practice of inarching for jackfruit cultivation, further enhancing their knowledge.
