ATI-RTC XII, in collaboration with the CFIDP program in BARMM, recently convened a meeting with representatives from various private sectors. Attendees included chairpersons, cooperators, and representatives from Farmer Cooperatives (FCs) and Associations (FCAs), as well as members from the Regional Agricultural and Fisheries Council (RAFC), Provincial Agricultural and Fisheries Council (PAFCs), and Municipal Agriculture and Fisheries Council (MAFC). The meeting aimed to discuss the results of the Training Needs Assessment (TNA).

During the meeting, Engr. Mokles P. Buisan, the ATI-RTC XII Focal Person of CFIDP-BARMM, presented the validation findings conducted in 2023. The objective of the validation was to identify the top five (5) training priorities for coconut farmers. Participants were introduced to these top five (5) training topics and had the opportunity to finalize their training needs based on their respective areas.

In addition to the TNA Result, the meeting also covered the upcoming training targets for 2024, focusing on raising awareness among coconut farmers.
