Training of Trainers on Production of High-Quality Inbred Rice and Seeds and Farm Mechanization Batch 1 has officially started.
Commencing last March 11, 2024, the 12-day Training of Trainers (TOT) on Production of High-Quality Inbred Rice and Seeds and Farm Mechanization, a program under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund is being participated by the farm school trainers from various accredited farm schools/learning sites for agriculture (LSAs), local farmer technicians (LFTs), and agricultural extension workers (AEWs) from different cities/municipalities in Region XII.
On the first day, the Training Specialist II and RCEF Focal of ATI- RTC XII, Engr. Mokles P. Buisan welcomed the participants with a warm and inspiring message. At the same time, Mr. Jayson Abang, Rice Specialist, discussed the RCEF Program overview and its significance to the farmers in the region.
Moreover, Mr. Henry Fritz Diaz of DepEd Region XII tackled Transformational Leadership to provide participants with sufficient skills to manage their rice farms and constituents effectively.
This training will conclude on March 22, 2024, and is expected to include various activities that will hone participants' skills and minds for better management of their rice farms.
