Midpapan-Balogo Communal Irrigators Association Inc. and ATI-RTC XII become Farm Smart partners through the Digital Farmers Program FarmTech Package Turn Over and MOA Signing held at Barangay Midpapan I, Pigcawayan, Cotabato, today, April 19, 2024.
ATI-RTC XII Agriculturist II and OIC-Chief for PAS, Engr. Jun Rey L. Samillano acknowledged the guests and participants while Municipal Agriculturist Marites E. Londres warmly welcomed the guests to Pigcawayan.
One of the highlights of the messages was given by the Focal Person for Digitalization and Value Chain Development of the Department of Agriculture, Mr. Glenn Estrada who highlighted the importance of the development of digitalization in farming.
OIC - Center Director of ATI-RTC XII, Shirley L. Beldia highlighted in her turn-over message the importance of partnerships in developing farmers and that a testament of that is the MID-BAL Irrigator’s Association who were the pilot participants of the Smart Agriculture Technologies and the Digital Farmers Program for Rice in the Philippines.
Additionally, Regional Rice Coordinator of the DA-RFO XII, Mr. Ray H. Embajador; and Focal Person For RCEF of PhilRice-Midsayap, Mr. Ommal H. Abdulkadil, also graced the program and shared their inspirational messages.

Chief for ISS and Information Officer III of ATI-RTC XII, Ms. Hannadi S. Guiamad- Pompong closed out the program emphasizing that this turn over is the start of a lifelong partnership that will inspire other farmers to be Farm Smart.
