The Refresher Course on Inbred Rice Seed Production and Farm Mechanization for Farm School (FS) Lead Trainers in Region XII and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) concluded on April 26, 2024, at ATI-STC XII, USM Compound, Kabacan, Cotabato. Hosted by ATI-RTC XII, the event began with a warm welcome from OIC-Center Director Ms. Shirley L. Beldia, who greeted the 30 participants.
Dr. Henry Fritz H. Diaz, Senior Education Program Specialist of DepEd Region XII, led a session on transformational leadership during the course. Dr. Diaz emphasized the principles of transformational leadership, focusing on intellectual stimulation, individual consideration, inspirational motivation, and idealized influence. His insights aimed to empower FS Lead Trainers with effective leadership skills to drive positive change in their respective communities.
Facilitated by Training Specialist II and RCEF Focal Person Engr. Mokles P. Buisan, the training spanned from April 22 to April 26, 2024. Participants delved into advanced techniques in inbred rice seed production and the integration of farm mechanization, equipping them with cutting-edge knowledge to enhance agricultural practices in their regions.
This initiative underscores ATI-RTC XII's commitment to advancing agricultural education and promoting sustainable farming practices among FS Lead Trainers.
