28 Agricultural Extension Workers and Farmer-Leaders who successfully completed the 10-day Training of Trainers on Corn Production and PostHarvest Management Phase I and Phase II (Batch 1). The training took place from April 15-26, 2024, at the ALC Hall, DA-ATI RTC XII, in Brgy. San Felipe, Tantangan, South Cotabato.

During the closing ceremony, OIC-Center Director Ms. Shirley L. Beldia delivered an inspiring message to the graduates, emphasizing the significance of their forthcoming responsibilities. Ms. Beldia underscored that the training's primary goal is to equip participants to organize and implement Farmers Field Schools (FFS) in their respective municipalities, ensuring the practical application of their newly acquired knowledge.

Additionally, the training received accreditation from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), granting 18 CPD points for Agriculturists and 10 points for Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers, further enhancing the professional development of the participants.

Facilitated by DMO II and Corn Focal Person Ms. Alma G. Camales, alongside Technical Staff Ms. Gladys Hazel E. Café, and supported by On-the-Job Trainees Mr. Muhidin T. Musa, Ms. Jenny K. Buisan, and Ms. Iris Jane B. Tomines, the training provided comprehensive insights and practical skills in corn production and postharvest management.

This successful completion marks a significant milestone for the participants, reinforcing their capacity to contribute effectively to agricultural development in their communities.
