The Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center XII (DA ATI-XII) commenced the Training of Trainers (TOT) on the Coconut-Based Farm Business School (COCO FBS) at Villa Amor, Koronadal City, South Cotabato. This 10-day training, under the Coconut Farmers & Industry Development Plan (CFIDP), aims to enhance the skills of trainers from various provinces in the region.

Simona P. Dela Cruz, Training Specialist III of ATI RTC XII, warmly welcomed the participants on behalf of OIC Center Director Shirley Beldia. The training is designed to equip participants with the knowledge needed to effectively teach coconut farmers the principles of farm business management, boosting productivity and sustainability within the coconut industry.

This initiative marks a significant step toward empowering local farmers with improved business capabilities, contributing to the long-term development of the coconut sector in Region XII.
