The program was designed to enhance the AEWs' skills and knowledge in supporting and teaching coconut farmers to improve their farm business practices.
The training included modules on sustainable coconut farming techniques, farm business planning, financial management, marketing strategies, and value addition. These topics aimed to empower the AEWs to assist farmers in optimizing productivity and profitability in their coconut-based enterprises.
The closing ceremony was attended by ATI RTC XII OIC Center Director Shirley Beldia, who praised the participants for their dedication and hard work. In her message, she highlighted the importance of applying the newly acquired knowledge and implementing the action plans developed during the training in their communities. She encouraged the AEWs to actively use their skills to support local coconut farmers effectively and drive meaningful improvements in their agricultural practices.
