The fourth week of the Coco-based Farm Business School training was successfully conducted on September 29, 2024, at Brgy. Malaca in Panglima Sugala, Tawi-Tawi. This session focused on enhancing the entrepreneurial skills of local coconut farmers, with an emphasis on effective planning and business development in agriculture.

Led by Sitti Kulsum D. Hairol, the Designated Planning Officer of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform (MAFAR) in Tawi-Tawi, the training provided participants with valuable insights into setting business goals, crafting strategies, and creating a clear vision and mission. These foundational elements are crucial for establishing a sustainable and profitable agricultural enterprise.

To reinforce these concepts, the participants engaged in collaborative group activities, presenting business proposals to their peers and receiving constructive feedback. This interactive format allowed them to apply their learning practically, fostering a better understanding of the importance of strategic planning in boosting production and income.

As a show of support and encouragement, participants were provided with essential supplies, including boots, hats, and long-sleeve shirts. These items will aid them in their agricultural pursuits, contributing to a safer and more comfortable work environment.

This week's session underscores the commitment of MAFAR Tawi-Tawi and ATI-RTC XII to empower local farmers with knowledge and resources to improve their livelihoods through informed and innovative business practices.
