The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center XII (ATI-RTC XII) participated in the Social Enterprise Forum and Cross-Learning Session for Partner Cooperatives and Community-Based Organizations, supported by the UN International Organization for Migration (IOM). The event was held on January 23-24, 2025, at the Grand Regal Hotel, Davao City.
Representing DA-ATI were Dir. Jessie V. Beldia, Ph.D., OIC-Center Director of ATI-RTC XII, standing in for ATI National Director, Engr. Remelyn R. Recoter, MNSA, CESO III, alongside Ms. Kissciel R. Arao-Arao, Technical Staff, and Ms. Juvy Lea Po, Admin Support Staff. ATI’s participation highlights its continued commitment to supporting initiatives that promote agricultural innovation and community-based development in the BARMM Region. Various cooperatives and community-based organizations across BARMM also participated in the forum, which IOM supports.
The forum emphasized knowledge-sharing through Learning Cafés, where participants presented their best practices on gender inclusion, climate resilience, and conflict resolution, among others. A panel discussion also covered early pest and disease response, the Halal ecosystem, and food safety regulations.
Participants also explored the Marketplace and Demo Space— Referral and Linkage to Services, which showcased products and services through booths and workshops from key agencies, including:

This two-day forum, which fostered collaboration between government agencies, private sectors, and community organizations, aimed to empower cooperatives and community groups for sustainability and growth.
