The Antonello’s Integrated Farm and Pascaran Integrated Farm and Agri-Tourism were launched last May 3, 2023 as a ATI-Certified Learning Sites for Agriculture. Imelda M. Guillermo, ATI – RTC 02 Center Director, Mr. Sergio Galamgam, Asst. Provincial Agriculturist, Hon. Gerlie Go, Sanguniang Bayan Member, Ms. Amalia Culili, Municipal Agriculturist of San Mariano, barangay officials, DTI representative and some members of the community graced the event.
SB Member Hon. Go congratulated the two farms for passing as a LSA. She thanked ATI for the support to the farms and help in advocating their knowledge about agriculture. She gave assurance of the support from LGU to realize their objectives in helping the farmers in their locality.
Asst. Provincial Agriculturist Galamgam mentioned in his message that the LSA is a teamwork of LGU, national government and the farm owner.
Meanwhile, CD Guillermo mentioned that ATI-RTC 2 felt the passion of the farm owners to help the farmers of San Mariano which made them deserving of the certification. She stated the roles and responsibilities of LSA cooperator and the function of LSA in the community. Dir. Guillermo encouraged the cooperators to attend trainings to acquire additional knowledge and skills to share to the farmers. She also highlighted that LGU may utilize the LSA as venue in conducting their programs.
Ms. Culili expressed her gratitude to ATI for always providing support despite it considered as a remote area. According to her, through this LSA it will help them achieve their vision in terms of productivity. She assured that they will support the LSAs in realizing their roles and responsibilities.
The owner of Antonello’s Integrated Farm, Mr. Jess Zambrano and Pascaran Integrated Farm and Agri-Tourism, Mr. Jorgie Pascaran, received their certificates after the unveiling of the LSA signage during the launching activity. As their roles and responsibilities were mentioned, the two LSA cooperators have taken the challenge to fully act on their roles and responsibilities as a closer and more convenient venue for learning.
