Twenty students from Rizal National High School (RNHS) undergo their work immersion in ATI-RTC 02 which involves enhancing their knowledge and skills in farm work, and farming systems and technologies through lectures, observations and hands-on experiences.
First batch of the 10 students are currently on their third week of work immersion which transpired form the Internship Orientation and MOA Signing between ATI-RTC 02 and RNHS in January 9, 2024.
The students are exposed to various lecture and hands-on demonstration on Organic Agriculture Production, Corn Production, Rice Production, Food Processing, Urban Agriculture, and Cacao Production; and lecture on Basic Entrepreneurship in Agri-products and Basic Record-Keeping. They were introduced to e-Learning and ICT Tools in agriculture.
The 10 students are set to finish their immersion on February 9. Subsequently, batch 2 of the interns will start their immersion.
ATI-RTC 02 is committed to accepting student interns to uphold its mission to empower and enhance capacities of agriculture and fisheries stakeholders for sustainable development.
