The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 02 with the City Government of Cauayan, Isabela, and the Local Government of Nagtipunan, Quirino officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement for the 30-sow-level swine multiplier and techno demo farm project.
The MOA was signed by ATI-RTC 02 Director Imelda M. Guillermo with SP Member Rufino Arcega, and City Veterinarian Dr. Ronald Dalauidao for Cauayan City. Also, present is Nagtipunan Mayor Hon. Noel T. Lim and Municipal Agriculturist Ms. Hedei Marquez.
The signing was brought about by component 2 of the DA-NLP INSPIRE Program, which aims to build, restore and recover the breeder base to support the gradual restocking and repopulation of the swine industry.
The event is a milestone for ATI-RTC 02, the City Government of Cauayan, Isabela, and the Local Government of Nagtipunan, Quirino to improve the local supply of hogs and pork.
