
The Agricultural Training Institute-Region 2 (ATI-Region 2) recently participated in the Stakeholder's Forum on the FY 2026 Budget at Quirino State University (QSU) on February 19, 2025, where they shared their services and programs.
Mr. Jhimcelle V. Salvador, OIC Assistant Center Director, represented ATI-Region 2 during the forum. Some of the key programs and services highlighted by Mr. Salvador include the e-Learning Platform, an online platform that offers various courses, enabling students to learn agri-fishery courses that can enhance their knowledge and skills. He also showcased the On-the-Job Training (OJT) providing students with hands-on experience in their chosen fields. Also, he announced the opportunity of Internship Program, the university can participate by endorsing their graduates to have an internship in Taiwan, Japan and Israel.
Furthermore, Mr. Salvador mentioned that the Institute will manage the Farmer Field School fund under the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund and invited to partner with them, leveraging their accredited Learning Site for Agriculture.
Dr. Herminigildo Samoy, President of QSU, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the various program offerings and highlighted the potential for fruitful collaboration between the University and ATI-Region 2.
