In bridging education and professional world to students, a total of 33 Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) students from Rizal National High School, Eleven 11 Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) and Accountancy and Business Management (ABM) Students from San Mateo Vocational and Industrial High School graduated from their 80-hour Work Immersions at ATI-RTC 2 on February 10, 2025.

With the guidance of experienced mentors from ATI-RTC 2, the students faced the challenges and made the most of the opportunities in the agricultural sector or even in the real work environment.

โ€œSa kabuuan po ang aking Work Immersion dito sa ATI, hindi lang nagbigay sa akin ng technical na kaalaman, kundi po nagbukas din po ng aking isipan sa napakalaking papel ng agrikultura. At ngayon ay inspirado pa akong ipagpatuloy ang aking pag-aaral patungkol sa agrikultura,โ€ said Ms. Crissel R. Javier, student from Rizal National High School.

Additionally, Ms. Rubelyn A. Castro, the Principal of Rizal National High School, conveyed her gratitude to ATI and commended their students with their presentation. โ€œI have seen the learning that you had with that 10-day stay here in ATI. From the young school boys and girls to a promising college students, meaning, sa pag stay ninyo dito, nag mature kayo, and for that congratulations!,โ€ she said.

On the other hand, Mr. Edronel C. Reguindin, student from San Mateo Vocational and Industrial High School shared his impressions, โ€œGusto ko pong magpasalamat po sa lahat ng tumulong para maging successful po ang aming work immersion, lalo na ang Panginoon, kay OIC Center Director, Dr. Claris Alaska, at sa lahat po ng ATI staff, in behalf of my colleagues, thank you po sa pagtanggap po sa amin ng 10 days at sa pakikitungo nyo sa amin ng maayos, sana po ay hindi lang kami ang matulungan nyo, bagkus ay mas marami pa pong estudyante o mga taong nangangailangan pa ng tulong ni ATI ang matulungan ninyo.โ€

For the TVL students, they immersed themselves in all areas of agricultural production, from crop cultivation and mushroom production, they gained valuable knowledge, completed e-learning courses, and built hands-on skills. And for the HUMSS and ABM students, they transformed from dedicated learners to capable contributors appreciating management processes, gained hands-on experience in accounting, financial management, marketing, and business operations. Also they have better understanding of human behavior, improved their verbal and written communication skills, especially in fields related to social work through assisting in different training activities of ATI. Their journey from committed learners to effective contributors within the agency, shaped by their experiences, was remarkable.

In their two weeks stay in ATI, students acquired practical skills that prepare them for real-world challenges providing them with invaluable knowledge of their chosen fields and insights that cannot be gained from traditional learning alone.
