
The training employed different methodologies to ensure effective knowledge and skills acquisition of the participants. It encourages each participant to actively engage in the lecture-discussion, enhancing their understanding on the fundamental management of farm business or enterprise, as well as the concepts and principles of farm business school through series of workshops that enhances their working relations and knowledge sharing between group members.
Moreover, participants improved their skills in developing farm business plan, farm record keeping and understand the flow of goods. Benchmarking is also added in the training that helps them to create market linkages and opened new business opportunities through diversified farming.
The training include participatory discussions, group activities, workshops, and output presentations that made the interactive. This approach promoted cooperation and facilitated knowledge exchange between participants and resource speakers thus maximizing their learning experience.
“I have learned a lot in this training, the proper way of computing profits and expenses; not mere recording, but should be a detailed recording of inputs and outputs in an enterprise.
