Five students from Central Luzon State University (CLSU) received their Certificates of Completion for their 240-hour On-the-Job Training (OJT) at ATI-RTC 2 on March 28, 2025 at ATI-RTC 2, Malasin, San Mateo, Isabela.
The event was attended by Mr. Jumark Pagaduan, CLSU OJT Coordinator, along with various ATI Section Heads and representatives. It was graced by Mr. Jhimcelle V. Salvador, OIC-Assistant Center Director (CD) of ATI-RTC 2.
During the ceremony, the students presented their OJT reports, highlighting their experiences and accomplishments throughout their training. They reflected on their immersion in ATI's core values, seeing them as essential extensions of their learning. By connecting insights from various sections and units, they developed a more holistic understanding, integrating knowledge across different agricultural commodities.
"Thank you to everyone, especially to Ma'am Claris for welcoming us here and helping us accomplish our 240-hour OJT. During the flag ceremony, we introduced ourselves, and all the staff greeted us with smiles. Thank you for making us feel so welcome. And to our OJT Coordinator, Ma'am, thank you for guiding us even when we were difficult at times. You always checked in to see if we were okay and if we were managing. Many thanks to all of you," said Ms. Jhanna B. Gaspar, one of the OJT students from CLSU.
Ms. Francisca C. Yuro, MPS II of the Information Services Section, shared feedback to the students: “We are both happy and sad. Of course, we will miss you all. Keep going, unlearn to learn. Embrace all the good things you've learned here, and never forget to look up and thank God. God bless.”
Mr. Jhimcelle V. Salvador, OIC-Assistant CD, congratulated the students: “Thank you, CLSU, for entrusting your OJTs to ATI-Region 2. We are very pleased to see your significant contributions to ATI during your training. Your presence has greatly supported our operations. Take everything you've learned and experienced here, and carry it with you into your future careers. This exposure is just a small part of what you will encounter in the real world. Best of luck in your journey.”
On the other hand, Mr. Jumark Pagaduan, OJT Coordinator from CLSU, expressed his appreciation to ATI-RTC 2: “Thank you for accepting our students. I am grateful because I can confidently say that our students have been empowered through their experience with ATI’s operations. To the students, I encourage you to focus on the development of farmers. We are the bridge between farmers and technology.”
During their seven-week stay at ATI, the students gained practical skills that prepared them for real-world challenges. They not only developed technical expertise but also honed their attitudes, immersing themselves in the world of agricultural extension. This hands-on experience has equipped them with valuable knowledge and insights that go far beyond what they could have learned in a traditional classroom setting.
