Eighteen students from Jones Rural School are set to undergo a three-week immersion at the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 02, Malasin, San Mateo, Isabela.

The ATI-RTC 02 and Jones Rural School (JRS) formally inked the partnership of the immersion program through a signing of Memorandum of Agreement on February 6, 2023.

The students are expected to experience various lecture series and farm work in the Center to immerse themselves into agriculture. Ms. Emiliana D. Caluya, OIC Assistant Principal of JRS, reminded the students the advantage that they can get from the immersion.

In a message, Dr. Claris M. Alaska, ATI-RTC 02 Assistant Center Director, told the students to make use of their immersion in ATI which may mold them into better students and persons.

A briefing and orientation were also conducted as prerequisite of the immersion.

Other than learning primary farm work and agriculture knowledge from the Center, students who experience immersion in ATI has also transformed mind and heart. This may draw them towards agriculture-related courses and programs.
