San Mateo, Isabela -  The Agricultural Training Institute - Regional Training Center 02 (ATI-RTC 02) started a week with a significant Flag Raising Ceremony, showcasing the unity and commitment of its management and staff. Held at the ATI-RTC 02 grounds on February 10, 2025. 

The ceremony was led by the Adminstrative and Finance Unit (AFU) and emphasized a deep respect for the nation’s values, with attendees donning traditional Barong and Filipiñana attire.

The morning commenced with a solemn gathering as staff members paid tribute to the Philippine flag, reflecting their collective dedication to serving the agricultural sector. The event not only served as a ceremonial observance but also as an opportunity to reinforce a sense of community and purpose among the team.

Following the flag ceremony, the management and staff convened for the monthly regular meeting, which began with a prayer led by Honeylet S. Ramiento. The AFU Head, Nanet B. Tarun, welcomed and acknowledged the participants, setting a tone of collaboration and engagement for the discussions ahead.

In her welcome remarks, Dr. Claris Marayag-Alaska, emphasized the importance of providing exceptional agricultural extension services in the upcoming year through complementation and collaboration. She encouraged her team to remain steadfast in adhering to new policies and to continually strive for excellence in their roles.

The meeting agenda, presented by the ATI-RTC 02 budget officer, Ms. Elaine D. Jintalan, included various pivotal points that are set to guide the organization through the first quarter of FY 2025. Key agenda items consisted of the FY 2025 ATI policy directions, the schedule of activities for the upcoming quarter, the preparations for the ATI anniversary, updates on Agri Balita, insights on withholding tax responsibilities, and sharing of learnings from the recent trainings attended by the staff.

The discussions were lively and productive, with staff actively engaging in the conversation to ensure that the institute meets its goals for the year.

As the meeting drew to a close, Mr. Jhimcelle V. Salvador, Chief of the Career and Development, Monitoring Section, and OIC-Assistant Center Director, summarized the key takeaways and motivated everyone to make ordinary things in an extraordinary way.

The meeting was faiclitated by Ms. Princess Almayda and Ms. Glenda Dela Cruz, both Administrative Support Staff, who ensured the meeting ran smoothly.
