The Agricultural Training Institute-Central Luzon (ATI-CL), in partnership with the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), Office of the Provincial Agriculturist-Tarlac and CLAARRDEC, conducted the turnover ceremony for Farmers Information and Technology Services (FITS) Center enhancement in La Paz, Tarlac on September 29, 2023.
Dr. Yolanda S. Guillermo, OIC-Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension and Training, TAU; Ms. Janet L. Saturno, Techno Transfer Coordinator of CLAARRDEC; Mr. Christian Bernard Ibañez of OPA-Tarlac; Mr. Aeron P. Bermudez, ISS Chief of ATI; and several farmer-leaders attended the said event.
The Center awarded the ICT tools and equipment set as well as IEC materials to enhance the services of the FITS Center. In addition, Ms. Eula Dee A. Lañada, TGP Coordinator, discussed the overview of the Techno Gabay Program (TGP) and its components.
The said FITS Center was evaluated for enhancement in August by the Provincial TGP technical working group.
