The Agricultural Training Institute-Central Luzon (ATI-CL), in partnership with Office of the Provincial Agriculturist-Bataan, Bataan Peninsula State University and CLAARRDEC, conducted the turnover ceremony of equipment and IEC materials for the FITS Center enhancement in Mariveles, Bataan.
Hon. Ace Jello Concepcion, Mayor of Mariveles; Hon. Angelito Rubia, Vice Mayor; Hon. Omar Cornejo, Committee on Agriculture and Fisheries; Hon. Tito Pancho Catipon, Municipal Administrator; Ms. Janine Torres, Municipal Agriculturist-Mariveles; Dr. Bernadeth Gabor, Director for Training and Extension, BPSU; Ms. Rosa Maria Danetaras of OPA-Bataan; Mr. Aeron P. Bermudez of ATI; and several farmer-leaders attended the said event.
The Center awarded the ICT tools and equipment set as well as IEC materials to enhance the services of the FITS Center. In addition, Ms. Eula Dee A. Lañada, TGP Coordinator, discussed the overview of the Techno Gabay Program (TGP) and its components.
The said FITS Center was evaluated for enhancement in August by the Provincial TGP technical working group.
