The Agricultural Training Institute-Central Luzon (ATI-CL), in partnership with Office of the Provincial Agriculturist-Bulacan, Bulacan Agricultural State College (BASC) and CLAARRDEC, conducted the turnover ceremony for Farmers Information and Technology Services (FITS) Center enhancement in Norzagaray, Bulacan.
Hon. Maria Elena L. Germar, Mayor of Norzagaray; Engr. Agapito Pascual, Municipal Agriculturist; Dr. Imee Esguerra, Director for Extension Services, BASC; Mr. Ceff Jr Basa of OPA-Bulacan; Mr. Aeron P. Bermudez, ISS Chief of ATI; and several farmer-leaders attended the said event.
The Center awarded the ICT tools and equipment set as well as IEC materials to enhance the services of the FITS Center. In addition, Ms. Eula Dee A. Lañada, TGP Coordinator, discussed the overview of the Techno Gabay Program (TGP) and its components.
The said FITS Center was evaluated for enhancement in September by the Provincial TGP technical working group.
