Selected Learning Sites for Agriculture (LSA) Cooperators participated in the Digital Agriculture Course for the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund on June 19-22, 2023 in Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija.
The training introduced the participants to the latest digital agriculture applications for rice farmers. In addition, the participants explored the various e-commerce platforms and process of digital transactions or online payment. They also learned how to make a social media marketing plan.
A participant, Neddie Aguas, claimed that she is eager to share what she has learned in the training.
Aguas also shared that the engagement of the youth is essential in the implementation of th training. “During the training, napatunayan ko na malaki ang magagawan ng engagement ng mga kabataan sa ganitong klase ng activity kaya binuksan ko ang isip at hiniling ko na makasama ko ngayon sa training ang anak ko upang maantig siya pati na din ang mga kabataan na nandito sa ngayon at marealize nila na malaki ang magagawa nila para sa community,” she added.
This training is the 3rd batch implemented for DAC RCEF.
