TAGBILARAN CITY. The Agricultural Training Institute–Central Visayas (ATI-CV) successfully conducted its First Semester Internal Quality Audit (IQA) on May 6–7, 2025, held at the ATI-CV Training Complex in Cabawan District, this city. 

The activity reinforces ATI’s continuing commitment to improving its Management System and overall performance quality.

The IQA was led by Dr. Merrian Piquero Soliva, Information Officer III, who served as Team Leader. She was joined by key members of the IQA Team: Engr. Rizaldy C. Mercadal, Agriculturist II and PAS Chief and Mr. Jorge F. Trinidad, Training Specialist II (CDMS).

In the absence of Ms. Ma Gracia S. Pungay, OIC-TCS I, who is in ATI Central Office for a seminar, and Ms. Lhea Glory Mae B. Araña, DMO I and M&E Officer (on maternity leave), support was provided by: Mr. Jeffrey O. Awas, Agriculturist II (PAS), and Dr. Doris Isabel J. Racho, Information Officer II (IS).

Dr. Racho, Mr. Awas, and Ms. Mary Jane Flor S. Patulilic, Media Production Specialist II (CDMS), are next in line to join the official IQA team in future audits in the region.

Following a thorough two-day evaluation, the Audit Team is pleased to report that no non-conformities were identified. Instead, the team shared valuable observations and recommendations aimed at optimizing existing processes and reinforcing best practices across the center.

This outcome is a clear indicator of ATI-CV’s dedication to continuous improvement, compliance, and upholding the highest standards in quality management.
