The Agricultural Training Institute 7 through its Information Officer II Jun Oliver actively participated in a significant convergence forum that brought together the Agri-Aqua Technology Business Incubator (ATBI) of Cebu Technological University (CTU) and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), as well as the Agriculture Fisheries Resources, Research, and Extension for Development Network (AFRREDN). This forum was held from February 1-2, 2024, at CTU-Main Campus in Cebu City, Cebu.

During the plenary session, attendees were treated to insightful interventions and success stories showcasing the effective implementation of the ATBI program in the Philippines. Moreover, key representatives from government bodies elucidated the various grants available for fostering agri-aqua innovation. 
Notable presenters included the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Region VII, the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Region VII, and the Department of Agriculture (DA) Region VII.

The convergence serves as a crucial platform for stakeholders to synergize efforts, share insights, and formulate strategic actions to uplift the region's agri-aqua sector. 

Generally, the activity aims to harmonize with the CTU-DOST interventions with the AFRREDN initiatives.
