March 10, 2025 - The Partnership and Accreditation Services (PAS) of ATI Central Visayas (ATI-7) is marking the fifth week of its ongoing Values Restoration Program, focusing on the theme of Equality in the workplace. This week’s activity brought together ATI-7 staff for a meaningful discussion on how embracing and addressing perceived inequalities can foster personal and professional growth.
The activity, spearheaded by Ms. Jessa P. Maglangit, Development Management Officer I, involved an open sharing session where staff members discussed their experiences and reflections on equality in their professional lives. The session explored the importance of acknowledging differences and how those differences can catalyze success and empowerment in the workplace.
The event featured insightful contributions from several key staff members, including Ma. Pamela R. Macaambac, Dr. Rizaldy C. Mercadal, Engr. John Kenneth Pracullos, Mr. Jorge F. Trinidad, Ms. Quennie Lou B. Vistal, Ms. Ma. Gracia S. Pungay, and Center Director Dr. Gracia F. Arado. Each shared their perspectives on the value of equality and how it can be actively promoted to create a more inclusive and supportive working environment.
“We believe that true equality is not just about equal opportunities, but also about recognizing and addressing the unique challenges that each individual faces,” said Ms. Maglangit. “By embracing these challenges, we can transform perceived inequalities into opportunities for growth, driving success for both the individual and the organization.”
Throughout the sharing, key discussions included: recognizing and valuing diversity as a source of strength within the team. The role of open communication in fostering a culture of equality and respect. The importance of creating an inclusive environment where all voices are heard and valued.
Dr. Gracia F. Arado, Center Director of ATI-7, concluded the session by emphasizing the importance of continued dialogue and action in creating a workplace where everyone has the chance to thrive. “Equality is a shared responsibility, and we must all commit to its practice every day,” Dr. Arado stated.
As the Values Restoration Program continues, ATI-7 remains focused on nurturing an environment that prioritizes respect, inclusion, and collaboration, paving the way for a more empowered and successful workforce.
