In its ongoing commitment to instill values that shape a purpose-driven public service, the Career Development Management Section (CDMS) spearheaded the 13th session of Value Restoration Monday with the theme: “Value for Work: When Excellence Becomes Our Everyday Offering.”

Held on May 5, 2025, the session offered a timely reflection on how everyday tasks can transcend routine when infused with excellence and intent. It emphasized that work, when done with integrity and heart, becomes a meaningful act of service, not just to one’s organization but to a greater purpose.

The event featured sharings from CDMS team members who brought both personal and professional insights into how value can be integrated into daily performance:

Joemelyn A. Sumagang and Jorge F. Trinidad, Training Specialist II, spoke about consistency, diligence, and professionalism as building blocks of excellence.

Maryjane Flor Patulilic-Bonilla, Media Production Specialist II, highlighted the importance of creativity anchored in service and relevance.

The session was also supported by a dedicated Technical Support Staff: Ricardo B. Tagupa, Jr., Fern P. Nano, April Quenny A. Yuag, and Hannah Cosicol, whose contributions ensured a smooth and engaging event.

Guiding the session were Ma. Gracia S. Pungay, OIC-TCS I, and Gracia F. Arado, CDMS Chief and Center Director, both of whom reiterated the value of offering one’s best efforts as an expression of professionalism, faith, and public trust.

Now in its 13th week, Value Restoration Monday continues to be a cornerstone activity in promoting Filipino core values across the organization. It challenges participants to not only revisit traditional work ethics but also to commit to a higher standard of service grounded in cheerful, value-oriented work.

As the program continues, CDMS encourages all personnel to reflect on how they can transform ordinary work into extraordinary service by offering excellence every day.
