DUMAGUETE CITY. The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 7 conducted a Livestock Economic Enterprise Development (LEED): Goat Fattening Production Training held on July 30-August 1, 2024, this city.

Twenty-four participants composed of agricultural extension workers and farmers successfully completed the training.

Highlights of the activity include a practicum on silage making, forage identification, deworming, and vaccination held at the Office of the Provincial Veterinarian (OPV) Negros Oriental, Piapi, Dumaguete City. 

The pool of trainers consists of technical staff from OPV-Negros Oriental: Ms. Erlinda L. Vilan, Agricultural Center Chief I; Mr. June Rey P. Cabildo Market Specialist II; Mr. Orlando P. Cabugnason, Agricultural Technologist; and from #aticentralvisayas, Mr. Andrew M. Macaambac, Planning Evaluation Officer.
