BOHOL - Another batch of Training on Native Pig Production was conducted on August 13-15, 2024, at ATI-7 Training Center, Tagbilaran City, this province.

Thirty (33) National Coconut Farmers Registry System (NCFRS) registered coco-farmers from Pilar and Catigbian, Bohol successfully completed the activity. 

The training enhanced the farmers' knowledge and skills on coconut-native pig integration, especially its economic opportunities. 

Likewise, they are also able to do Forage making, silage identification; Administration of vaccine and deworming

The pool of trainers includes Jovencio C. Felisilda, PCA Provincial Manager-Bohol; Evelyn Caina, Jose Seloveres, Glace Guiterrez, technical staff of OPV Bohol; and Dr. Carl Leonard M. Pradera, Assistant Veterinarian of CAVO Tagbilaran City.
