Central Visayas – The Administrative and Finance Unit of the Agricultural Training Institute – Central Visayas  led this week’s Values Restoration Monday with the theme “Leadership: More Than a Title, It’s a Calling.”

The session, held on June 9, 2025 was facilitated by Administrative Officer IV Irene L. Blasco, and highlighted the importance of character-based leadership in public service. According to Blasco, leadership should not be limited to formal positions but should be recognized as a daily responsibility to serve with integrity and purpose.

Ten ATI-7 personnel participated in the session as sharers: Jade Genevie B. Carlon, Jorge F. Trinidad, Rhea Krestene Q. Bongcac, Zandrina L. Prima, Armando Dabalos, Anton dela Torre III, Riza Claire Sebandal, Teorevic P. Leornas, Corazon Curayag and Reza Premacio.

Each staff delivered a brief reflection on leadership as a value that can be demonstrated regardless of rank. They underscored that everyday actions such as accountability, initiative, and ethical behavior form the foundation of effective leadership.

ATI-7 emphasized that values-driven leadership is essential in addressing the growing demands in governance, agriculture, and service delivery. The institute continues to promote internal programs aimed at cultivating servant leadership and professional integrity among its personnel.

The Values Restoration Monday program is part of ATI-7's commitment to institutionalizing core values and strengthening moral recovery efforts within the organization.

“Leadership is not about being in charge. It is about taking care of those in your charge,” one speaker quoted Simon Sinek during the session.
