The Agricultural Training Institute - Regional Training Center VII (ATI-RTC 7) continues its steadfast commitment to instilling values in the workplace with the observance of its 12th Values Restoration Monday, held on April 28, 2025. This week’s core value, "True Concern is Patriotic," highlights the essential role of compassion, accountability, and civic responsibility in nation-building.
Led by the Administrative and Finance Unit (AFU), this week's session focused on how true concern goes beyond emotional empathy—it is about putting love into action. When individuals extend care not only to themselves but also to their communities, to the environment, and to future generations, they embody a form of patriotism that restores and sustains.
According to the sharers, the environmental crisis we face today is largely the result of indifference, greed, and neglect. However, they emphasized that change begins with awareness and intentional action—something that every citizen is capable of, starting in their spheres of influence.
The session featured reflections and personal insights from five ATI-RTC 7 personnel:
Riza Premacio, Administrative Staff; Corazon Curayag, Administrative Staff;
Zandrina L. Prima, Administrative Officer I;
Jorge F. Trinidad, Training Specialist II, Career Development Management Services (CDMS); and Jessa P. Maglangit, Development Management Officer I, Partnership and Accreditation Services (PAS).
Each speaker highlighted how the practice of true concern—whether by being mindful of resource use, advocating for eco-friendly practices, or supporting one another in the workplace—serves as an act of patriotism.
“The work we do every day, when rooted in genuine care and integrity, contributes to a stronger, more resilient nation,” one of the sharers remarked.
As the Values Restoration Monday campaign continues to gain momentum, ATI-RTC 7 encourages all employees and stakeholders to live out the values discussed each week, not just in theory, but through consistent, everyday actions.
Patriotism is not only found in grand gestures. It can be seen in how we care for people, for nature, for our duties. That is where restoration begins.
