On April 7, 2025, the #ATICentralVisayas Information Services Section (ISS) led the ninth week of the ongoing Values Restoration initiative with a reflection centered on Reliability, one of the core values that guide the organization's mission and daily operations.

The activity began with a discussion on the importance of Reliability in professional and personal contexts, emphasizing its role in building trust within the team. Reliability was highlighted as the cornerstone of all core values, as it serves as the foundation upon which trust is built. Without reliability, it becomes impossible to establish the necessary trust that fosters effective communication, collaboration, and commitment in the workplace. When reliability is lacking, even the most well-intentioned commitments may become questionable, leading to doubts and inefficiencies.

The reflection was led by three key figures from the Information Services Section. Doris Isabel J. Racho and Jun Alguin B. Oliver, both Information Officer IIs, shared their personal insights on how reliability has shaped their work ethics and how it contributes to the success of their roles within the team. Alongside them was Dr. Merrian Piquero Soliva, the Chief of Information Services, who shared a leadership perspective on how maintaining reliability within a team is essential for nurturing a productive and harmonious work environment.

The session was both enlightening and thought-provoking, encouraging attendees to reflect on their own practices and how they can uphold reliability in their daily interactions and professional duties.

The event concluded with a moment of celebration as the team acknowledged the birthday celebrants for April 2025. Human Resource Designate Ms. Quennie Lou B. Vistal generously provided a cake and small tokens for the celebrants, creating a warm and celebratory atmosphere. The gesture was a reminder of the importance of fostering a sense of camaraderie and appreciation within the team, another reflection of the core values the organization upholds.

Reliability was emphasized throughout the activity as not just a personal trait but a value that strengthens the organization as a whole. In a time when trust is an essential element for organizational success, the ISS's focus on this core value serves as a reminder that without reliability, achieving collective goals becomes increasingly difficult.

The Values Restoration series continues to engage staff in meaningful reflections on how core values shape the way they interact, work, and grow as individuals and as a team. By focusing on one value each week, the initiative seeks to reinforce the importance of integrity, character, and trust in building a cohesive and effective workplace.
