The Agricultural Training Institute in Central Visayas conducted the Training of Trainers on the Digital Farmers Program (TOT-DFP) - Livestock, held in Tagbilaran City, Bohol on March 25-27, 2025.
A total of 25 participants, including livestock focal persons and farmers from across the region, joined the activity.
Ms. Aimy Sentorias, Agricultural Extension Worker from the Local Government Unit of Corella; Mr. Jay Mar Masibay, Project Development Officer from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT); and Ms. Ma. Pamela R. Macaambac, Technical Support Staff from ATI-Central Visayas, served as the resource speakers for the three-day training.
In order to promote better economic resilience in rural communities, the program sought to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to fully utilize technology in business and agriculture.
The event's effective implementation highlights the significance of digital transformation in agriculture and the dedication to enhancing the skills of regional farmers and business owners.
