ATI Central Visayas Marks Three Years of Partnership with RAFI, Inc. to Empower Grassroots Communities

SIKATUNA, BOHOL — The Agricultural Training Institute – Central Visayas (ATI-7) is celebrating three years of collaboration with the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. (RAFI), highlighting their shared commitment to empowering grassroots communities through sustainable enterprise and rural development.

The partnership, anchored in RAFI’s Sustainable Livelihood Training Program, aims to uplift rural livelihoods by providing practical training and support to local residents. Over the past three years, the initiative has contributed to building capacity in rural areas through skills development and enterprise-based learning.

To kick off this year’s activities, the first collaborative training session for 2025 was held in Sikatuna, Bohol, gathering 25 active and engaged participants. The session featured Doris Isabel Racho, Information Officer II of ATI-7, and Rachelle Madrigal of the AboitizPower Corporation (APC) as resource speakers.

ATI-7 expressed gratitude for the ongoing partnership, acknowledging RAFI’s continued trust and support in their joint efforts. “Together, we make change happen,” the agency stated, reinforcing the impact of collaborative rural development programs in creating lasting, community-driven change.

The ATI-RAFI partnership is expected to continue rolling out more training programs across Central Visayas, with a focus on sustainable agriculture, livelihood development, and enterprise growth for rural communities.
