TAGBILARAN CITY, BOHOL. Extension workers and program implementers from various regions come together, fostering networking and collaboration. This collaboration can lead to joint initiatives, resource sharing, and mutual support.

With workshops, seminars, and presentations on the newest trends, technology, and implementation techniques for extension programs, the convention also offers possibilities for professional development.

Thirty (30) participants from other national government agencies, state universities, and other stakeholders in region VII joined the activity.

Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center (ATI-RTC) VIII initiated the 8th National Convention on Philippine Association of Extension Program Implementers (in lieu with Regional Agriculture and Fisheries Extension Network Meeting) held at the Metro Center Hotel, Tagbilaran City on August 16, 2023.

Facilitating the activity is Ms. Merigine C. Otara, Planning Officer II of ATI-RTC VIII.

Through discussions and workshops, the convention addresses challenges faced by extension workers, seeking solutions that enhance the resilience and sustainability of agricultural extension services.
