The Central Visayas Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development Consortium (CVAARRDEC), along with the Agriculture and Fisheries Resource, Research and Extension for Development Network (AFRREDN), hosted a workshop on the Harmonization of the Regional Research, Development, and Extension (RDE) Framework and Roadmap at JJ's Seafood Village, Tagbilaran City, Bohol on March 27-28, 2025.

As part of the consortium and network, Merrian Piquero-Soliva, Ph.D., Information Officer III and Chief of the Information Services Section (ISS), represented the Agricultural Training Institute in Central Visayas as one of the participants, helping to shape the roadmap that will reflect the diverse needs and commodities of the region, identify challenges, and unlock opportunities for transformative growth.

The activity marks a critical step in aligning the agriculture, fisheries, and natural resources collective efforts to create a cohesive, forward-looking roadmap for Central Visayas.
