Graduates from the Training of Trainers on the Digital Farmers Program (DFP) for Rural-Based Organizations (RBO) conducted an orientation on DFP for 4-H Club Officers at Carcar City College on March 26, 2025.
Carcar City College proudly hosted an inspiring event with the 4-H Club Officers, bringing together 24 participants, including 5 dynamic speakers, all committed to making a difference in agriculture and leadership. The participants were members of three distinct 4-H clubs: the CCC 4-H Club, the 4-H Animal Science Club, and the 4-H Crop Science Club.
Moreover, the group came from diverse academic backgrounds, including Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA), Bachelor of Arts in English Language (BAEL), and Bachelor in Public Administration (BPA), demonstrating the power of interdisciplinary collaboration.
The goal of DFP is to provide farmers a thorough grasp of the benefits and importance of Smart Agriculture Technology (SAT). In addition, the program aims to show how these cutting-edge technology may be easily included into all phases of farming, from planting to harvesting.
