REGIONWIDE -- Well-being is the ability of individuals to address normal stresses, work productively, and realize one's highest potential. Research shows that employees in good health are more likely to deliver output efficiently and effectively. 

Thus, the Agricultural Training Institute-Central Visayas (ATI-CV) organized the Capability Enhancement Training for AEWs and Learning Site Cooperators of Negros Oriental and Cebu at Vicamo Farm, Apolong, Valencia, Negros Oriental on August 24-25, 2022.

The two-day activity aimed to: (1) Explain provisions of LS/SPA guidelines that can be applied to early development among farming household families, and (2) Explain the concept of a Learning Site for Agriculture and/or School for Practical Agriculture.

"Maayong buntag sa tanan, pasalamat ko sa ATI kay napun-an ang akong kabalo sa agriculture. Dili ni akoang profession kay education man ko. However, dako ni ug gamit nako kay ako i-disseminate ni na mga knowledge and information. Daghan salamat sa ako co-participants for pushing me into agriculture," shared Mr. Jerome B. Mabaso, participant from Ubay, Bohol. 

Edna S. Lao, Owner/Proprietor of Lao Medical Clinics based at 82 Multinational Ave, Multinationals Village Parañaque discussed Health and Wellness in the Workplace.

A total of 25 participants composed of farmers and Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) participated in the activity.
