Leadership trust creates the stable foundation for employees and their organizations to flex, adapt, and thrive in times of continuous change.
In this regard, two (2) batches of training on Maximizing Leadership Potential: Building Trust for Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs) from different provinces in Region VII was held on July 25-27, 2023 at One Central Hotel, Cebu City, and August 01-03, 2023 at ATI-RTC VII Government Complex, Tagbilaran City, Bohol, respectively.
This training aimed to enhance knowledge, skills, and attitude of the participants to become competent leaders through organizational management in order to function effectively, manage and influence other employees in the workplace.
A total of 42 participants were trained under Atty. Alma E. Aparece with her topic on Friendship and Community Organizing; Good Communication in Community Organizing; Power of Goodness; The Organizer in the Community; Gaining Entry into the Community; Organizing the Community; Engaging the Community; Looking at Dynamics in the Community; Transformation Festival.
“I am so happy that I am able to attend this training. I have learned to embrace self-affirmation and be sensitive to others. A leader must learn the process of empathy. Self-respect is also important as you cannot give what you do not have,” expressed Daisy Marie Gesim of LGU Bais City, Negros Oriental.
Ms. Maryjane Flor Patulilic served as the Project Officer for this training with Mr. Moises Zem F. Jayectic (Batch 1) and Gertrude Grace B. Solijon (Batch 2).
